The Garden Bar

Shaun & Neil, the proprietors of the Rising Sun are delighted to present the Garden Bar, a brand new, separate area of the pub available for private bookings, small gatherings, private dining, meetings plus much more.

The bar (customer area measuring 5 metres by 5 metres) is located to rear of the pub carries on the Rising Sun's classic elegance but on much more sophisticated level, making the venue an ideal place to host your event.

The Garden Bar is suitable for parties of up to 32 people for private dining and up to 50 people for less formal events. Situated adjacent to the Rising Sun's newly re-styled garden and fully air-conditioned, the Garden Bar is an superb venue for all seasons.

A range of catering options are available, from £8 to £25 per person and planned to best suit your individual needs. Buffet & Canapé Menu.

Private Social Events

A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your preferred date on a first come, first served basis. Please ask for details.

Please note:
Due to our minimum age policy of 25 years, we are unable to host 18th and 21st birthday parties.

Corporate Events / Meetings

For corporate training and meetings (minimum 10 people) we offer the The Garden Bar for a delegate rate of £15 per half day / £25 per day per person. This includes tea, coffee and water throughout the day. A buffet lunch is available from £8 per person and we will require a 50% non-refundable deposit at least seven days in advance of your event. The Garden Bar is available from 8.00am - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
